"Yum Kippur"
I know, I know, it's a bad play on words, but I did it, let's move on. Happy Yom Kippur!
Yom Kippur is the Jewish day of atonement, a time to think about your sins over the past year. Jews around the world fast from sundown to sundown on this most holy of Jewish holidays, until they eventually break the fast with a hearty meal. My Yom Kippur, or "Yum Kippur,” meal, as I called it, went like this:
Deviled Eggs with Crispy Garlic Breadcrumbs & Micro Chives
Pan Seared Loup de Mer, Parsnip Purée, Sweet Corn Cream Sauce, & Brussels Sprout Leaves
Tarte Tatin (French Upside Down Apple Tart)
